Hand-dyed, 80% Merino / 20% Possum Yarn.
4ply, 100g skeins/approx 400m. Needles 3-4.5 mm.
8ply, 100g skeins/approx 238m. Needles 4-6 mm.  

A wonderful yarn spun here in NZ – merino blended with possum. It's a very soft yarn with a stunning halo. The yarn is woollenspun and due to this construction and the possum fibre, it's very plump. The 4ply knits as 4-5ply (fingering/sport) or even light 8ply (DK). The 8ply knits as 8-10ply (DK/aran). Beautiful for stranded and fair isle knitting. Suitable for garments, hats, scarves, mittens and big, cosy shawls. This yarn is not superwash treated.
